Dr. Ted Cook has over 20 years of MUA experience and his exciting 32 credit hour MUA training course provides a full case observation and analysis, proctorship, and literature review. In addition to, hands-on training and instruction, course participants will become familiar with patient selection, documentation, coding, and much more.

The information and experience gained during this course will prepare physicians to successfully incorporate MUA into their practice. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will have gained a familiarity with the mechanics of the procedure, its physiological basis, and will have had hours of hands-on practice in a controlled and supervised environment. Course participants will gain the skills needed to effectively present MUA to their patients. The course details specific indications for and contraindications of the procedure. It also provides a solid clinical foundation that allows physicians to effectively communicate with orthopedic surgeons, pain management physicians, physiatrists, and other physician referral sources.

The comprehensive structure of the course provides extensive information, hands-on training, and supports Doctors with patient educational materials. Complementary brochures, post cards, and DVDs along with questions and answers for patients considering MUA are provided to physicians enrolled in the course.
